Yesterday driving home from school I rear ended I Volvo and caved in my sol. it was flattened in the front but my dad and I pulled it out as best as possible. It drives after replacing the radiator and distributor, but looks like complete shit from the front. And that’s not even the worst of my luck, their was a 3 day laps in my payment of my insurance and it wont be covered. I think I’m going to shoot myself.

Damn, man. Sorry about the luck.

I had a lapse in insurance once and got pulled over by a cop for speeding. 41 in a 35 and it resulted in $365 and a 3 month suspension.

I hope everything works out for ya in the end.

Ok hears the update (pics will come tomorrow) i went out today and found the front body structure (cut away from a donor Del Sol), hood, bumper and fender. The Del Sol will be nice again soon. Not bad work for 24 hrs. Oh and the front end will look a little different, it's a 97 without the little 2 lights.

Ouch, dude. Sorry. At least it isn't totalled (as I thought when I read the thread title). Sucks about the insurance though. Bastids.

On a positive note, I like the front without the two little headlights.

ok hear are the pics (keep in mind that these are after fixing it to make it drivable, replacing the radiator, pulling the frame with my dads truck to make it strait

) the hood was bent soo much it sheared off the oil and distributor cap and the bumper and frame were so down on the ground that the asphalt scraped and made black marks. In other words it was messed up bad. also here are the donor del sol parts gathered so far. the front frame will be cut off and this will be in it's place
