Since robry sucks and can't help at all :) The thing just will NOT idle right now. I'm pretty sure this all started after I put some injector cleaner into it (it sat for 6 months I figured it'd probably be good to clean the injectors a bit). It's a 93 s10 blazer, 4dr 4wd. Anyways, the thing like idles like it's got some freak ass lobey (sp?) cam in it... just VWOOM *almost dies* VWOOM *almost dies* VWOOM. If I try and idle with it in gear it will die unless I keep the gas peddle pressed a bit. And if I'm accelerating at all it's smooth as hell... so basically it's only an idling problem... any ideas? It doesn't spit an engine code most of the time, although sometimes after driving for like half an hour it'll spit a SES (service engine soon). But as soon as I shut the truck off and restart it that's gone.

I dunno... it's at 200k miles, and other than this possible vacuum line it's got no issues. Doesn't burn any oil or anything... I'd say that's doing allright.

4.3 TBI? one thing that will really clean up the idle is changing the pcv valve. get some of that spray carb cleaner and a new valve. take old pcv off (side of TB), spray some carb cleaner in the soft line and into the tb (with engine running. small squirts at a time) then put your new valve on the line and stick into hole. wouldnt believe how much it helps, plus its cheap. before and after idle was like 2 dif engines.
