yes its more money, but you are going to want the all metal y8 gasket. a lot more durable, esp since you will now be running higher compression w/ the z6 head. side note, i was informed not too long ago that z6 and y8 gaskets are now the same part number. so if honda got rid of the z6 gasket in favor of the y8, to me it shows how much better the all metal y8 gasket is. |

yeah i'd go with the y8 gasket isnt it 2 layer also for a lil extra bump in compression |

the vtec dist has dif mounting points than the non dist. 2 holes will line up, but not all 3. ive heard of people cutting off the ear that doesnt fit and just using the other 2 mounting points so they can use their orig dist and it works for them. |

Like i was telling you earlier, on aim , if your car is missing at low rpms then its kinda smooths out as you give it gas. i would bet my left nut. Which is the only one i have left. That you are leaking around the headgasket and you don't have good compression in one of your clyinders. Grab a Compression tester and do them all . i bet one of them is leaking badly. It sounds like the same problem i had with the zc. i changed the headgasket and now all is good. |
