I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

HIDs

Post by JaySmith » July 02, 2005

As of late I've been pondering the idea of HIDs. I dunno why, as they've kinda become played out here in Winnipeg, christ I've even seen some on a rusted out white CRX. :( But if I were to consider some, what companies would you guys recommend looking into just out of curiousity?

hid's and projector lamps are %120 different. and trust me he isnt going to put projector lamps on his car. HID (high intensity discharge) lamps. he needs ballast, bulbs and wiring. i was also looking into doing an HID conversion in mine... the best HID install i ever seen was airbag club when he retrofit some BMW lights into his CTR lamps. there is actually a write up in the how-to forum. but i think the pics are long gone thats the only downfall. if i had the time and balls to chop up my ctr laps i would do the conversion. it looks fucking sickning.

big  to airbag club.

I wouldn't hack up my headlights either. My regular headlight bulbs are just fine.

 to airbag club too. Those headlights are awesome.
