Just wondering how you can tell the difference. Are they visually different? Is there a serial number somewhere that you can tlel from? Trying to figure out whether this fucker is obd1 or obd2. This all stems from my IACV... the one I ordered is supposedly the part from an OBD1 car...

So I'm thinking, either someone had to re-wire for obd1... or I dunno, just trying to figure out my CEL shit still.

Image ODB-1

Image ODB-2

the plug styles is way differet, now telling the difference between ODB-2a and ODB-2b is near impossible without tracing wires

wow, mine is really a bastard child. The "plugs" if you will, look like the second picture, but the 3 left plug holes are the only ones with pins, the right most slot is empty. Go figure that one out?? I'm assuming it's obd-1 then?
