Alright ... so i probably won't sell my car ... but it has crossed my mind a few times, and every time it did, i have absolutely no idea what to ask for it. As most of you know, i've run into a few problems with my car motorwise, and it's just kinda beating me down into not wanting to rebuild it again. Besides, i'm in debt and the sale of the car alone would be enough to get me 80% out of debt i'm sure. So my question is, what kind of price would you buy this car for, or if you owned it, what would you be looking to get out of it. Mods list 95 Integra GSR ~80,000 miles on chassis either completely unmodded B20 or LS longblock or mild build b20/ls vTaK (stock airbox, exhaust, etc) Interior is in excellent condition ... never been smoked in, no burns, rips, tears or missing pieces. extras Galapagos Green Metallic paintjob (1 year old paint, EVERYTHING painted, minus engine bay (which will be sprayed flat black), inside gas cap (also sprayed black), and interior (under carpet and panels is still red). NO RUST OEM JDM ITR front end conversion w/ HID (fogs and sidemarkers need wired) OEM JDM ITR powerfold mirrors (need wired) OEM ITR spoiler OEM Honda rear emblems OEM 98 spec all red tail lights VIS oem style Carbon fiber hood (small chip on driver's front corner) mugen hood pins Eibach sportline springs 15" Gold Rota Attacks w/ 90% 195/50 kumho tires fresh inspection here are some random pics
okay - so there you have it ... any opinions on pricing are appreciated ... don't post and say 'don't sell the car' because i probably won't anyway .. but i would like to start an eg or ek9 project  thanks fellas[/b] |

honestly anymore people are paying insane amounts for cars and parts. i bet if you put it on ebay with a HUGE reserve you could get a good idea of what people are willing to pay w/o even selling it. that way you know u wont get too little for the car. thats what i would do.. and if the highest bid at the end of the auction is reasonable then contact that bidder and set up a sale. |

that's exactly what i was thinking of doing jon ... i was gonna set it at an unreasonable amount ... maybe like 15,000 or something and in one sense hope for the best (aka some tool pays 15 grand for it) but for the most part just watch it and see what it ends up going up to... who knows ... some fucking 16 year old kid just got a brand new Ford GT last night locally ... so maybe some one will make mommy and daddy pay way too much for my hunk of crap Part of me doesn't want to sell it ... Part of me wants out of debt and knows that a project is a project ... there's plenty of time for another.... who knows I'm gonna wait to sell my block and a few other things, swap in an LS motor then decide from there. |
