When i tried going to work today, i released the e-brake, or so i thought. the handle is all the way down but it didnt disengage. any help? |

Something snapped to freeze it up. Happened in my daily before. Check the cable. |

munsters right, but something doesnt necessarily have to snap. If the cable is cold enough to stiffen up, only part of the cable may have come out of tension. It happens on my friends Tacomas when were in the snow, the next morning, the brake will be disengaged, but still on because its frozen. Just takes some warming up |

get some pb blaster or wd40 and spary intot he cables sheilding and it will work its way through. then you should be good to go. |

i fixed it. i just took off the e-brake cover and pulled it back and it works now. thanks for the info though |

most likey the caliper or the drum froze or got rusted |
