Anyone get discounts at newegg/tiger/etc so I can pick up a new barebone and some parts?
I also want a new monitor my desk is bending because this crt is so heavy hah.

Thanks in advance!

I don't, but Tiger is cheap as hell already right?

i think tigerdirect and newegg are about as cheap as it gets already

For monitors, you can check dell's scratch & dent stuff. I picked up a 17" flat panel for like 160 shipped or something ... looked it over and see nothing wrong with it whatsoever.

4 years? Is that supposed to be a long time to use a computer?

I built mine back in '99 with a friend of mine and I'm still running it right now no problems.. I reformat maybe once a year just to get all the garbage out..

My brother's gonna donate his computer to me and I'm just gonna throw 2 gigs of ram in there since NewEgg has a 2 gig package for only $80..
