05/06 K-Pro http://img515.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0171tq8.jpg http://img58.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0170oe8.jpg http://img234.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0168jm9.jpg Plus I got a second valve cover that I'm going to get anodized over at racecoated.com and my replica mugen front lip, still waiting to buy a fender and have someone put it on and paint it for me. speaking of which, anyone know a good body shop in Johnstown that they could hook me up with? I need to get the fitment on my front lip adjusted and a new fender installed, then everything sprayed and blended. Let me know! |

yes, sort of, stock 03/04 RSX wideband primary o2 sensor, it can read 11.5-28.0 A/F ratios. The 05/06 cars use a narrow wideband, so you have to swap it out. Some of the other downsides to the Kpro on the 06 are: limited cruise control functionality: basically, the 05/06 cars use a countershaft driven speed sensor, meaning it spins like 100x more than the 02/04 cars speed sensor. so, hondata had to write a formula for the kpro to compute to convert the high frequency signal from the transmission, to a low frequency signal to the ECU and dashboard. Sometimes while driving, the speedo will flutter, and if you're in cruise, it cuts out. However, you still retain every other stock function, like A/C, emissions, etc. If I would have gone AEM EMS, I would be hacking my gauge cluster as well as no A/C, etc. cost - since you have to source an 02/04 ecu and a 03/04 o2 sensor, you're paying an additional amount, on top of the 995$ for the kpro itself. You also pay for a wiring harness that goes between the ECU and the car's harness, which again, adapters for the speedo and some other pinout changes. I think the benefit will be worth it, especially if I go turbo next summer |
