so frank the tank is on the road now. broke her in today, drove it everywhere but no vtec.

i ran new wires to the ecu from the vtec oil pressure switch and the vec sel. and still none.

do i have to have a knock sensor for it to activate? beacause i dont have one.

i got a CEl also.

help me out!

make sure you have the right pins in for vtec...what car is this? what motor? what cel? i dont believe you need a knock sensor.

check your pins

check your pins
pin A4 vtec sel
pin D6 vtec pressure switch

both hooked up. and ran to the sel/switch
vtec press switch is hooked to the blue wire then jumped to the ecu.
vtec sel is from sel to ecu.

1995 honda civic dx
b18c1
p72 ecu

i didnt flash my cel's yet. im guessing knock sensor.

yes theres oil in it for all of the smart asses out there.
