I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Better late than never, nics pcs.

About the fram thing I have done some research for one of my engineering classes and fram filters were the worst filter for cleanliness of oil, and I remember something in them being plastic and they had a problem with it a while back, don't know if they ever changed that.

id never touch a fram in any of my cars...my 400whp turbo honda uses NOTHING buy OEM honda. i dont trust anything else after all that ive seen, however i did read in one review that the Mobil 1 filter scored very highly, howeer they are next to impossible to find.

ive run hamp before but in my opinion its no different than the OEM filters. if the honda engineers think its ok, then its ok for me.

i also use the RSX-S filter on my B-block as it will raise the oil pressure about 3psi.

dude, i want to know more about this. can i do this with a B18B1? im guessing the filter causes some restriction in order for it to create 3 psi more pressure. is that right? if so, wouldnt that be bad to restrict the flow and cause some starvation? im interested here as i have never heard of this before.

thanks
JDM is still stock...

what he was talking about is attention to detail.. if you pop open a show car seeing a fram filter sticks out like a sore thumb. he never said anything about it performing shitty its just more or less a 'show' thing.

im stinking to HAMP
no i meant that fram filters suck... cut one open and compare it to a napa gold... you will understand then.
