I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

*coverage* carlisle custom compact nationals

Post by .saint » May 19, 2004

well another year has come and gone. this year moving the compact nationals to the harrisburg farm show complex...

i was really impressed by the size of this place. it actually blew my mind. i was a little dissapointed how they had things set up though. the main building had the elite class and alot of open room. when you walked out the halls towards the huge arena... you heard sounds of rally cars blowing around a figure 8 course. the size of this area was extreme. i wasnt expecting something so big inside this place. moving on down some steps there was a vendor section... this part is what i didnt care for. it was really cramped and packed inside this hall. they didnt have many cars showing they could of spaced it out some... moving on... inside the smaller arena they had a mechanical bull you could try... moving on, in the main hall it was impressive anothre HUGE arena with a bunch of cars...

outside the entire lot was filled with cars that didnt pre-register or ones that didnt want judged... all in all my take on the harrisburgh show. i liked it. infacet i would rather it be at harrisburg then carlisle... only thing i would change would be the setup of the bunrout comp. because that was lacking hardcore. the beauty contest wasnt anything to shake a stick at either. they held it in the middle of the huge arena . it was hard to see. you couldnt hear nothing. and good luck getting a decent picture..
