I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Si Maddness

Post by OcLpRk8699 » February 01, 2005

Is it normal for a STOCK 1990 240sx to take a '04 Si, off the line and on? Tenchu was riding with me, the Si also had Exhaust and prolly intake. But i though that was odd. But for the sake of argument, the si has 20 more hp but 20 less ft-lbs of torque than my car. Its also a little heavier.

newer Si's are like high 15 sec cars correct? stock... and i believe teh older 240s are about the same I know there was one down here in miami a while back with an intake and a newer ka24 cam was pulling mid to low 15's..

so I guess between those 2 cars it would be up to driver skill

Yeah he flew past us in a 40mph at about 60 so I made tony chase after him, we caught him at the light, revved the engine, and went on green, i know he was trying because he broke loose a little at the light, and we raced up to about 115. It was crazy... I want to race this 00 si coupe now.
