alright it was justin and i comming back from the mall. i forget the day. we were on 56 heading towards johnstown... all a suden this gray car w/ big gunmetal wheels and altezza tails and some muffin shooter hanging off the back comes ripping onto the highway...

we caught up to it turned out to be a new protege' didnt think nothing of it. the kid was balling out of controll big gold watch and some blonde in the passanger seat. he ended up tapping on the gas showing us what he got i guess... sounded like boost but it wasnt very loud i was thinking factory turbo..

well he pulled infront of me to get around a car then pulled back in the right lane. i pulled up beside him in the left and looked over. he turned his head and downshifted.. so i put it in 3rd and gave it hell... i ended up pulling on this protege' he wasnt even keeping up i kept pulling. munster was giving him thumbs downs and yelling 'its a stock civic!' we got to the bridge right beside the war memorial where there is a bunch of turns i was blasting through these turns my 02 si wheels squeeling like no other i peeked in the rear view and seen the kids girlfriend reaching for her seatbelt and using hand gestures to get this boner to slow down...

we roll up to the stoplight and he pulls up beside us... it had a mazdaspeed badge on the back... did i just beat a factory turbo'd mazda with a d16y civic? i sure did. this kid obviously couldnt drive for shit... oh and to top the whole story of... his licence plate said '01 civic'

I know who that was. He had a blue civic like mine and it is a mazdaspeed to the best of my knowledge. Boner

oh man thats freaking awesome i owned a mazdaspeed protege' w/a stock d16y.. wish i had the ls/vtec really make him look like a f'ing tool.

haha. That was definitely a classic. If that was seriously a Mazdaspeed the kid needs to learn the skill of at least shifting let alone driving. It was a horrible display if I've ever seen one. He deserves to be in a Hyundai Accent or a Geo Tracker.

its all about weight...if he would have taken that watch off you would be toast!!!! plate should be "01BONER"

He should have put some stickers on it that said, "I spent too much money on my watch and altezzas" or "I can't shift" or "I'd go faster but my girl won't let me" or "I wrecked the '01 Civic...insurance bought this"

yes sir... weight makes a world of a difference.. I know of several hatchies with D16y's that own many.. some dip nicely into 15's with pretty much intake exhaust... and header...

its all about weight.. and Jawn.. I know ur civic is NAKED..
