I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

clear coat on wheels?

Post by Mugen Ferio » June 14, 2005

i have a set of Volk GT-C's that have been refinished. the place that put my tires on scratched all 5 of my wheels, sent them out to get them fixed and now i finally have them back. there are surface scratches in the clear coat it self and dirt......very little but enought i can see......under the clear. will a nice polish fix the scratches? what do you guys think? what would be my best bet. i know some of you are saying a volk wheel has an anodized lip. the place that fixed them would re-anodize them because its a "tricky" process?!?! anyways let me know about things i can do to fix this problem.

id clay bar the wheels, and then get one of them power balls and put it on a really powerful drill... hope that helps! :)
