Post subject:  Tutorial Requests!!

What's up everyone...

I know the winter sucked and it looks like it's on it's way out. I encourage you, if you haven't to check out each link on the Car Care Forum for info on detailing.

I know I haven't covered everything as far as detailing, so after you check through all of the links:

Post here what you would like to see written up as a tutorial.

I will be happy to assist in detailing techniques for people.

Freaking immaculate!! Unlike my car, which was visited by the waterspot fairy last night.

I'd like to see a tutorial on re-blackening side moldings, mirrors, wiper cowls etc. that were once a rich black but have since faded. I tried Mother's back-to-black the other day but wasn't too impressed.

This is actually easier than you think. I'll do a write-up with pics as soon as I can. It involves a fine grit sandpaper and clear coat (hi-temp), but it comes out "oh so amazing". Check back reguarly, I have to do some of my moldings still.

This is out of my league...sorry man. I just know briefly about this stuff. Try checking out http://www.showcargarage.com and http://www.autopia.org for SOME info. You'll have to search the net for good info. Sorry.

Headlights don't have clearcoat. Are you looking to make your headlights clear again?
