Simple Green. cuts through all the grease and gunk. spray it on, leave it a few minutes. wash it off. you may have to scrub a little in places, bu works well |

Simple Green does work well, some of the other stuff thats a little stronger like that purple cleaner really fucks your paint and anything that is polished if you get it on it. I just spray alot of SG on the engine and get out a few different sizes brushes and scrub away. Somehow the inside of the distributor always gets wet when i hose the engine down, i have to take the cover off and use a hair dryer on it for a few minutes to dry it out. Other then that everything goes smoothly. |

Yup, Jeff said what I was gonna say. Tricks you learn from detailing cars, or from being a dealership bitch, lol. Cover your shit with bags, the dizzy you can cover with a bag and a right rubber band so water doesnt get in the cap |

I use Gunk degreaser and some crazy engine detailer that looks like you dipped the engine bay in clearcoat. I think it's called like CD2 or something. |

I do SG, let soak for 5-10, then low pressure rinse, scrub any really dirty areas, rinse again, and then armorall tire foam on the bay. Let it sit until the foam dissolves and wipe off any excess. Gets all the black plastic looking nice. |
