| Post subject: | [?]How-to :: Rust repair |
Well, Ive realized that my Supra isnt going to come any time soon. And when it does, it will most likely not be mint. Ive decided I want to practice on my `89 Mercury Topaz GS with rust repair, and I also want to paint it myself when I fix all the rust. Could anyone here give me some tips on doing this? Thanks! |

whut ever is rusty u need to grind down to bare metal.. when its bare metal the best materials come from a company called por 15.. their produts are marine clean which will clean the bare metal.. metal ready will oxideze it and make it ready for paint.. then use their signature por15 rust preventative. once u paint it on it will never rust again in that spot.. after that fill it in with fiberglass sand it then spot puddy.. por 15 is some badass stuff...as for paint. consult your local paint dealer and they should steer u in the right direction for paint and hardener and what not |
