I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Here's what I got out of it...

1) Find the starter wire connected to the ignition (Use a multimeter to find the voltage)
2) Cut this wire (strip a bit of insulation of the ends)
3) Connect the STARTER side of the starter wire to the first slot on the ML8/ML9
4) Connect the IGNITION side of the starter wire to the second slot on the ML8/ML9
5) Connect remaining four slots on ML8/ML9 to 4 seperate grounds. (Don't put all in one)
If you are using an LED
6) Run a power wire from your fuse box or battery terminal with an inline fuse to the power wire of your LED.
7) Run the black wire from a ignition switched source (ie: radio ignition wire)

To figure out what wire goes to your starter, get a multimeter and hold the black plug to something metal for a ground, and the red to a wire, if its getting power with the car off, ignore it. You want to test each wire, and find the one thats getting 12V of power when the car is cranking. You may want to remove a plug wire to make this easier (car will crank but not start). While your at it, you should rig up a fuel pump cut-off switch. Good luck, hope this helps.
