[ps2] Initial D Special Stage

I got this game about a week ago and i havent stoped playing it since. If you have ever pklayed the Full size arcade version you will appresiate that after ever race you dont have to throw in another dollar to keep playing.

It has 3 differnt modes, 1 being arcade which is very similar to the one you play at the arcade, you battle differnt characters from the series on differnt mountains. Mode 2 is story mode, in story mode you have differnt challenges to complete in order to move on in the story. One for example is that you have to climb Mt. Akina while trying not to spill any water from a paper cup. Those who watch the series now what i am talking about. Finally in the 3rd mode, Time trial you race with any car you would like and see what time you can make it in.

This game is an Japanese Import, which means you either need a mod chip or as i have a "swap magic" kit which enables you to play this game. Also being japanese this means everthing is in Japanese! I had trouble with the menus for about 30mins. after playin the game you find out whats what.

Only bad thing about this game is the lack of 2 player mode. As many know the fun at the arcade is battling each other down a mountain of your choice. What me and my friends were doing was playing it on time trial mode and then seeing if we could beat each others times.

1 out of 10 i would give it a 8
fun game lack of 2 player dissipointing.
