name ONE racing sim that's exclusive to the PC that's better than gran turismo in the aspect of "proper".

i've been playing racing games since F1kart champ on the famicom..before the usdm nintendo; and i can't think of any racing game that has better simulation than the GT series.

i have yet to see any PC racing game take over 3 years to develop like the the GT series and going to the actual circuits to capture live-action footage.

Fail.

Any Simbin game is amazing.

1. GT Legends
2. GTR2
3. Race
4. Richard Burns Rally

If you think that the GT Series is a simulation I'm guessing you've never driven a real car hard. All 4 of those game's listed above will blow ANY console game away as far as realism goes. Match it up with Logitech's G25 wheel and you got yourself one hell of a setup.

And no the games I listed aren't childish dream games where you get money to build cars with your "stage 3 turbo's" but when realism comes up, the console has nothing.

And some screen shots because I'm bored and like to further prove my point.

Oh, and yeah, forgot to mention, on the PC, you can have REAL races with say, more then 6 damn cars.

Oh and lets not forget, you can MOD PC simulations...

Those were all from GTR2, so how about some from GT Legends, which is my personal fav.

And then how about some Race, aka the WTCC simulation.

And I'm spent. Shit looks weak huh?

those pics and the video did nothing to me. it's all been seen and done..over 5 years ago. there's a reason why gran turismo is crowned as the best racing sim to date. and HAHA at you telling me i have no circuit experience. i recognize the ability in late-braking into a corner using a civic in real life as to playing GT. i see and feel it when i'm playing it. i see and feel that i can't use the same line in a FR than i do with a FF 'cause i'll start drifting in the middle of the turn. YOU NOTICE IT WHEN YOU'RE PLAYING GRAN TURISMO.

Btw, you can download demo's for free for all the simbin games. How about doing that before talking shit about them with having ZERO first hand knowledge.

But I have a feeling you'll never appreciate them because you seem to really enjoy your "arcade" simulation racing games with "semi-racing exhausts' and racing with 5 other cars. I used to think the GT series was realistic. Then I bought the original GTR and GT Legends, and that changed my mind.

PC SIMULATION games have realistic physics, console's don't. I'm sure you play Gran Turismo with an awesome controller too don't ya?

i vouch for PC games > console games. i played a few games at robry's house and a console wont touch that shit.

as far as the simbin racing games goes. i have seen GT legends before and ill give that many thumbs up

GTR2 owns the nuts off Gran Turismo.
In GT you can turn with your wheels locked up.

truth! I've shown .saint live for speed S1/S2 and I've been playing GTR2 lately. Very realistic games, sometimes they're so realistic I get really frustrated when I blow a corner. You really have to drive like you do in real life. I always drive semi conservative when I'm cutting up on mountain roads, but on the PC games I'm always going balls to the walls

haha. But yeah, even playing dirt and forza2, the latest two games for 360, they're much better but still don't touch the PC games listed.
