I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

because in Japan thats when they started releasing the 99-00 front. there are 95' 6th gen civics too. its like they start releasing them in the summer and go by when they were released not the year they were planned for.Sean @ NDF wrote:^ i was just joking.
Why does my 1998 Civic Type-R have a 99-00 front end? GT mistake?
I drive a Honda シビック クーペ

Re: [:. Official Gran Turismo 5 Time/Media Thread .:]
Started playing gt5 pretty regularly again the other day. I'm going to break down and pick up a wheel. I'm looking at the Logitech G27 and ill probably do the break mod and swap the wheel out for my sparco wheel from my civic.
i have been playing with the HKS controller, very nice controller but not what i was expecting. with the "gas" and "break" pedal buttons they don't work as well for pressure sensitivity as they market. There is an LED display on the center of the controller that displays the pressure you are applying to the gas pedal. BUT its very finicky. when you are at 100% and want to back off, it dont really work, you need to let off completely and press the gas pedal in to about where you want it. (pain in the ass for most of the harder license tests)
So is anyone else been playing with a wheel?

Yeah my little brother gave me the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel for Christmas the year the game came out. Turns out he had broken my steering wheel I had for the N64 and he always felt guilty..saint wrote:So is anyone else been playing with a wheel?
It's good, I just have a hard time setting up a comfortable position whenever I want to play because I don't have a dedicated gaming space. I usually end up just using the controller for a couple races and then I've had my fill.

That's my problem. I don't have an area I can dedicate to build a PVC rig I can leave set up. And to drag everything out seems like a pain. I like the HKS controller but for some of the races and license tests to get gold I need a wheel.
