Always wondered how pictures like the one above were taken. Do they use 2 vehicles, a skateboard, bicycle?
I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
How?

Anyone off hand know of how these shots, or shots similar to these are taken?

steve demmitt has tried to keep the way he takes these pics to himself, but its not a still picture edited in photoshop. the way you normally get that kinda effect is by using a rig with a camera mount and then photoshop out the bars of the rig, i dont think it is possible to get the car that sharp and the background blured by taking the picture from another car unless you are really lucky.
I thought it could be done by panning but i think it would be difficult to do it at that angle and steve has said it was not done by panning.

most photographer wont give out the secrets as its not just a hobby for them its also the way they make money and dont want everyone playing out the shots. Im about to start building a camera rig to take these kind of photo's. first i need to find a company to insure my camera and lenses before i try it
