So I picked up an h23 yesterday...didnt think it was this bad, so I decided to strip it down a bit. And yes some girls can work on cars lol Slow
The perty hole
The head comes equipped with gum balls and leaves
Anyone want an automatic h23 tranny?
When I took the oil pan off this is what I found in there lol
Some parts also fell onto the ground
Then I proceed to take the windage tray off to find the girdle mangled...oops
Yummy
I think the piston is a bit fried
While attempting to take the head bolts out I managed to snap my snap-on socket...go figure

Haha I know I dont know how the kid could manage that...and he was NA. I really just wanted the head so I could go for the whole g-series build, the f22 bottom end with the h23 head. Something different that no one has done around here yet. Im pretty stoked to finally have a project to work on. |

That motor is toast. But hey props for being a girl and putting it down. Rock the g-series. Never heard of it, but if it is different then I am down. |
