92-95 Civic Emblems ?!?$?%!

A few days ago after i washed my car i figured it was time i take off my front H emblem on my Civic, its a Coupe 95, so i used dental floss and it was scorching hot out, i figured hot enough to make the glue under it abling me to lift it right off, well it lifted DIRECTLY OFF, and there were 2 holes there? Why is this? i've seen everwhere peopel wil civics that take off there front emblem...any comments?

the people who take their badges off either putty the holes and paint over them or they have a 96-00 civic where the badge is in the grill and just pops off.
