Post subject:  removing/installing "hog rings" for s2k seat insta

im putting s2k seats into my ek and i found a thread on h-t that says to remove the seat pan off the ek seat and put the pan onto the s2k seat this was the easiest way it seems to get all 4 holes lining up, so my question is how to remove the hog rings? they are these little rings that attach the seat to the pan in places? from what i understand from reading the post on h-t he took his seat apart, from looking at the seats i took out my passenger seat and was comparing it to my s2k seat bottom it looks like he did some steps i would not have to do, since we know they are the same from what ive seen it looks like i could just go in from the bottom removing the pans of each and swap them i dont see why you would have to take the entire seat apart, anyway what do u guys think, i was trying to do this last weekend but i had a funeral to go to so im going for this weekend now , just someone help me out with these hog rings?

well i dont think its going to be that bad, i just dont see what the exact procedure is to remove or install those "hog rings"? i think u use a certain kind of pliers, i know i could make it work but i dont want it to look like crap its really clean right now and i dont want the seats to look like a hack job even if it is the underside of them

yeah i got them, i just went ahead and picked them up they were for alot cheaper than anywhere else ive seen them so if i dont use them i can put them up for sale i just didnt want to let these slide by for a good price then decide i need them later but the real determining factor was that the integra or rsx or whatever doesnt really fit thatr well and i need black rear seats and i want good fitment so i went with these
