So, I have decided to relocate my stereo like I had mentioned in the last thread. I might have found a guy to do my fiberglass work. If not I am just going to fabricate soemthing out of a mixture of wood and paint or the CF fabric stuff. Now that I am doing this, there will be a big gaping hole in my dash where my stereo used to be. Do I: a) leave as is (the big gaping hole) b) throw in a couple guages (keep in mind I am basically all stock) c) put in some kind of light with a design to come on when my amp comes on d) put a lighted honda emblem for a red line indicator? I know some of those options are kind of cheesy but hey, why not? I know I could go with a TV but I really dont have the money for one nor is my head unit a DVD player...So tell me what you guys think.... |

hows come you want to re-locate in the first place? i thought u wanted to relocate because you had something to put up above. if i were you i would leave it alone keep it clean looking untill you have something to fill the void. thats just me though. |

I'm with jon. Or leave it up top. Seems like a huge waste to me. |

The problem is because of the slant that honda put on the dash, I cant see my radio display during the day. Ive thought about just tinting the windows, but Mississippi has tint laws, and I am as dark as I can get. |

Mod an oem block off plate to fit in there if you must move it |

If you're going to move it just make a blockoff for up top. Will give you a place to mount gauges later. |
