Is it a crime to paint carbon fiber? i was lookin at the pix chinga posted and one of the tegs he showed has cf fenders

i dont think i could paint over carbon. just me. i love the look of it. cf fenders look awesome on a black car. black/carbon fiber is 1 of my fav combinations ever. |

I've seen alot of carbon fiber parts sprayed over with just a few coats of color so the cf still shows through. That looks rad. |

or if you have pearl paint, just spray the hood with the pearl... looks good... |

yea, about the fenders... how much do your guys' fenders weigh? my fenders (both jdm/usdm) weigh like less than a pound EACH. i would hope people wouldn't buy them for weight savings... :ohmy: |

well just make sure if you paint ofer it to primer it 1st...the paint might chip off if you dont |
