I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Hola! :o
Jezek wrote:too bad his ISO was so high....those were some decent shots.

And I doubt it was just a fish eye lense. They wouldn't keep the clarity up that high. my guess is a 10-22mm lense or 12-24mm.

Nice car tho...looks great in Suzuka Blue
Yes, the ISO was set all the way at 1600... I was cold as hell, and I forgot my gloves... Just a gool old fashion brain fart...

The lens is a Canon 16-35 zoom.

What's the make/model number on that camera... please tell me... lol
Canon 5D... Its easier to work with on location than the 1DSMkII.

Yea, if I had been more prepared for the testicle numbing temperatures, I probably would'nt have forgotten such a basic thing like re-setting my ISO to a reasonible level... Doh!

Yea, I really like the portability and ease of use... :) The funny thing is that dispite having a smaller sensor, the 5D actually performs BETTER than the 1DSMkII at high ISO and under low light... SO, if you think these are grainy, you can only imagine what the MkII would have come up with...  :o
