I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

HID opinions

Post by tommybanzai » January 17, 2007

I have been looking into purchasing a set of HID's for my Scion tC. I am just plain old tired of buying headlight bulbs that blow up on me and using shitty regular ones. I drive a lot, and I have an itch to get a set of HID's. Any input or suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Thanks. Tom
the new and slightly improved...don't piss me off, and i won't f#*k with you!!! *gggrrrr*

I dunno. They got sets going for 170 on scionlife. But other than that, I wanna get some for my xB, but I cant find anyone that makes dual xenon for the xB.

PS- IMO dual xenon is the way to go, hid low AND high. dont go higher than 8000k or your askin to get pulled over. Though I want 12000k :P

What does Robry have in his RSX? That's a nice kit and it's bright without being overwhelming.

I have the purevision kit from http://www.retro-solutions.com like I said on myspace. I honestly thing its great for the money. The diff between the 200$ one and the 400$ kits, are the ballasts and bulbs. Maybe the 400$ kit lasts 5 years and the 200$ one lasts 3, I dunno. Honestly, mine have been great, and are definitely worth the money I spent. Here are some pictures of my HIDs at night:
