I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Dude the AF is posh, only downside is they're hella slow to promote.
So is my MOS. So not much change. When/If I stay in long enough to make it to e-5, ill be stuck there for a lonnnnng time. e-6, i could probobly retire at that.

ya basic is only 6 weeks it should be cake. the only reason i could see it sucking is if someone were totally out of shape which im not so i shouldn't have any problems :) and i will get to learn how to take apart an m16 and put it back together from what i've heard but ya nothing extreme :P

Don't worry dude an M16 is easy as pie, plus the AF has relaxed PT standards. If someone was discharged from the AF for being overweight or tape they'd be obese.

good to know. i just took another practice test. i suck at arithmetic haha but my word knowlede and paragraph comprehension is alright though :) mathematics isn't too bad so i think ill just keep studying arithmetic reasoning and electronics. also i read on military.com that to prepare myself for training i should do sit ups, push ups, and run 2 miles. What kind of sit ups do you do in basic? i hate them they dont do shit but strain the hell out of my neck and back. i'd prefer to do crunches like i've been doin :)

Look up what the PT test standards are for your age group and see if you can already do it. If you can you're golden. IDK about the air force but in the army if you can pass a PT test at the 60% standard (before you go to basic) and do well with a few questions that's worth a promotion. I came into the army as an E3.
