had his car not broken down and he finished the race behind the to FF cars then you can talk shit.

i love s2k's though :X and he was nowhere close of catching that EG before his axle broke.

He makes a good point, just doesn't say it well. An ideal race car would be RWD but as this race proves a FWD car is very capable of being faster. The guy in the civic admits his car is lighter and produces more power than the S2k's. If i could have a simple engined car (like a civic/integra) in a rwd car that I could fit in (too big for a miata), be practical and afford I would be all over it.

and odly enough most rear wheel drive cars have huge heavy motors. (now slow down let me clarify) I said most. Examples, supra, mustang, 300z, 350z, etc. Now I know miatas and s2k and even silvias have smaller engines, but most of the time you see a mustang owner getting pwned by a civic because his car weighs 1000lbs more than the civic. So if they are within 100hp of each other the civic has a real good shot. That is why lotus us so bad ass. They can stuff a Ksereis in the back, or a Bseries, or something like that and Boom, that car with kill a damn ferrari. So a mild s2k against a crazy civic, I would say the civic has a good shot. That is just my opinion

yea, in a straight line maybe....u make that car turn and it has the potential to be a different story

That is true squirrel. I was refering to a straight line sense. On a track rwd takes the cake because understeer = boo. There you want those things that RWD or a mid enigne car can bring.
