i don't know about you but i'm joking. i haven't heard anyone use "your momma" joke as a real threat since '93.

i'll never jkokin in my life, though..even if it was jdm.

Runflat tires use either extremely stiff sidewalls (Goodyear EMTs on the C5 Corvette) or a metal or plastic donut inside so that incase the tire loses all of its air, the sidewall won't go completely flat (This is the Odyssey system, HMMWVs also use this type of run-flat technology) There is still around 2" of air between the inside of the tire and the support donut.

It was really, really funny to me when I was working at a tire store in Tampa and my bosses didn't know about the Odyssey's run-flats and the specialized tools you need to change the tire. Despite my warning they still agreed to work on his van and it took 4 mechanics 3 hours to remove the tire from the rim (by cutting it off) and they still had to send it to the dealer to install the new tire.. idiots.

yea new tires for the odysseys are nuts in price. ill alwyas want just regular air in my tires.

as far as the ugly thing goes a car manufacture isnt going to produce an ugly car. so they will probly end up doing something with the sidewall on these. they have been in development since 1995. we should have seen these already if its taking that long imo atleast on SOMETHING.
