my s13 is being gay....

Well my brother has been driving the 240 because his car is down for the K24 swap.... Yesterday he comes home and tells me it's vibrating like hell at idle.

Great! The day I post it on Craigslist it breaks on me....

SO I start the car and pop the hood.... the motor is rocking side to side like it isn't attached..... But idling steady. I throttle it up a bit, and it goes away....

This is freakin odd.... I suspect motor mounts, but don't want to go driving it anywhere to get it checked because I'd hate to blow the damn thing up. Oil is clean, coolant is also. plug wires look good. Nothing is un-attached under the hood either. The car IS low on gas....

Ideas????? suggestions????

your sure its not a misfire? Engine mounts can make a clunk noise under hard acceleration. Since there is no Load on the engine in nuetral, it may appear fine. But, id visually inspect the mounts, and also check for misfire.
