I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

tuning at hybridymanics :)

Post by robry » September 10, 2007

car is going to hybrid Friday morning for a tune! w00t

with my mods, most guys are putting down 220-225whp. I'm looking forward to putting down that much at the dyno. I'm interested to see the torque curve too, with that new IM on there. I'm gonna try to get a few videos and of course a dyno sheet or two :D

we'll see what denis can pull outta meh car

Engine Mods for those who are curious:
K20Z1 (05/06 RSX engine, has ITR cams (same part numbers, except for the last 3 digits)
Fujita F5 CAI
Hondata IMG
K series RBC manifold (Accord EuroR/USDM Civic SI 8th gen)
Karcepts TB adapter
ITR 4-2-1 header with gutted catalyst
Buddyclub Spec III exhaust
Hondata Kpro Sn# 2631

I'm anxious to see what I make! :D

EDIT:
---------------------------

Final numbers! 207.72whp/152.20wtq

good luck dude! My brothers K24 swap just did 205 wheel and makes 165 lbft at 2500rpm, with peak torque of 174 at 6000rpm. Stock type-s head on accord block with TSX pistons, aem intake, DC header, and K-pro....
finally turbo!
check the cardomain!!! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/832854

nice, do you know what intake manifold he's got on it? the type-s one or something else (PRB/PRC = types/r, RBB/RBC = accord/civic si), on a K24, the RBB/RBC is supposed to make a noticeable difference in torque/hp all across the RPM range.

As much as people talk up HD I wish they were closer. I need to have my miata dyno tuned later this year.

stock type-s manifold
we ditched the supercharger because of the taller deck height of the K24, and just re-used his old manifold

I'll see about picking up an accord/si manifold....

thanks guys.

airbrush: check either k20.org or clubrsx, there should be a ton of threads on the rbc mani. its well worth the money. Most guys see 15whp ONTOP of a fully tuned bolt-on K20A2. I'm geeked :)

woot, gonna change the oil and fix an exhaust gasket tonight so I'm good to go tomorrow on the dyno. I need to clean my interior out too, I got like 4-5 pop bottles in the back, etc haha.
