I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

ah man, first night was fun, went smooth but the turnout was depressing, the rain kept some people away. tonight should be boomin.

what a freaking year! this year was another year from hell! it came down to opening night and i was still running power and lights. 08 will be another story i plan on starting in may.
anyways.. im editing and resizing alot of the pics and putting them together in a walk-through sequence for the website http://www.frightmarestudios.com in the mean time check out the short 5min video i got before the actors and the props were put into the haunt. this video is more or less a walkthrough of the haunt showing the sets and details.
the video was put together in the daytime as you can see and all the work/house lights were turned on, if this video was shot @ night it would basicly be completely black....

the audio in the video is from the Frightmares Atmosfears: volume one CD witch will be for sale on the website once its finalized.
running the sound this year i opted for new radios. this year the sound was played through 3 Panasonic mp3/cd car stereos 240 watts (one for the haunt, one for the courtyard and one for the que line). delivering the sound in the haunt was 2 110w klh indoor/outdoor speakers and a 10" cerwin vega sub. in the courtyard was 1 110w klh and same goes for the que line. i also installed a homemade sprinkler system "just in case" something might of happened.
i also did without the video systems this year only because it came down to the wire and i didnt have the time to run the lines and set up the system.
in the courtyard the new koi pond has 6 koi fish in it at the moment it measures 9'x8'x3' and the new 'exit house' building i constructed this year is 8'x8'x8'. to anyone who made it to the haunt this year, thanks for the support, to anyone who enjoys reading about the haunt and didnt have a chance to make it, thanks for the support and to anyone who hates the haunt and really hates supporting halloween.. then uhm.... ill ban ya.
