I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
After all this time.... Zero's build BEGINS!!!!

Tein Basics and a Spoon tower bar are the only suspension upgrades ive done to the car lol... im hopeing when i go with Cusco Zero 2E's that will change along with the other Spoon tower bar and both Spoon lower tie bars and Skunk2 camber kits... hopefully with that setup the body roll will be greatly reduced... but the MR5s and TE37s look great in motion lolMugen Ferio wrote:holy body roll. next thing you need is a stiffer suspension and some roll bars. nice pics though man!
so what does everyone think of super orange on a red car lol i know it looks ok on a white car but it was something different and eye popping lol. if not ill prolly go with a silver or gold color... but the orange would be kinda cool lol

well today was an interesting day... i had planned to change my oil and put a new oil pan gasket in along with cleaning the motor cause it got dirty again... now if you didnt already know ive been having problems with my car wanting to start... mainly the battery is dieing constantly and im having to push start the car if i turn it off for any reason... this morning was no exception other then when i pushed it up and down the street trying to get it started nothing happened then when i got my room mate to come out with his car and jump mine is when i realised that i had forgot to put the sparkplug wires back on the distributer cap after i cleaned the inside or it and the rotor for a better spark... the car starts up and i go on my merry way...
so i stop at the shell station near the house to fill up the tank and my card is denied... yay off to base i go as i got tired of the shell station being gay... got to the on-base gas station and the samething happens... now im pissed and i call the bank and they thought the $179 purchase at Walmart was suspecious... yeah i know... and they cleared it up... so i filled the car and then got in but the car wont start... so i push it for a little and someone helps jump it... so i drive to just around the corner and get the rest of the oil i needed for the job and went off to the auto hobbie shop where i am to do all this work...
Sorry i forgot my camera otherwise there would be pictures of this long and drawn out process... i got there and cleaned the engine bay then jacked up each side of the car and did my best to clean the underside. after all that was done i put the car on a lift and started to get to work. i drained the car of all the oil and started taking of the second part of the header as its a OEM 2 piece header... oh and while all this was going on i had the battery on a slow charge off to the side... after getting that part off without breaking any of the rusty ass bots i started my work on the oil pan... noticed strait off that once i pulled the pan down the sela was bad as there was oil on both sides of the seal which there shouldnt be... yay me... i then cleaned off the gunk on the block and the pan. oh and this is where i wish i had pictures... i pressure washed the oil pan and clean it out of all the gunk that had built up at the bottom and hand dried it so i could get rid of all the water... pan came out almost as good as new when i was done. put the new gasket on but im not sure if i used the right kind of sealer with it... im sure that will bite me in the ass later but i just need the car to last a month or so anyways... and i put everything back together the way i took it apart and filled her with oil... let itrun for a few minutes then put more oil in and i was done... yay for me and my crappy mechanic skills >_<
oh and i forgot to mention that the car runs alittle better now and has some torque back that was missing and VTEC is at normal operation again thanks to oil preasure being restored... over all it seems the car feels like it should... and its ver smooth running...
