also i want to mention i added a small 'trophy' type deal to your profile. its kinda like how the ps3 trophy system is set up.
i plan on chancing it a bit with my own trophies and stuff for the site but for the time being you can see some simple little unlocks.
I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

its not for anything really. just a way to track your participation on the forum...
for example with the new trophy system im working on one of the trophies will be 'Elite Referrer' it will be a platinum trophy (so its a little harder to get) but to achieve that trophy you will need to Refer 5 members to the site, whom remain active for a period of time (minimum 25 posts). this will also include a new refer link that will be in everyone profile (when this new trophy system launches) use the link in your profile and once you refer 5 people who remain active for 25+ posts that trophy will unlock.
pretty much the same deal on a ps3. the system is pretty much just for bragging rights. this is just a test thing. i been tossing the idea around for trophies and badges. pretty much the same thing. you will have a special page on your profile that lists all the badges you earned. possibly like a 'gold 5 games in the arcade' and you will get the arcade badge or something..
its just something im working on to get more traffic to the site, once people see they can actually post and use every bit of the forum to unlock badges it might bring some people back and/or make the current posters use the entire site to its full potential.

my imac only has 1gig memory in it when i got it a few years ago. i kept putting it off and putting it off (kinda glad i did) this thing still runs like a bullet but i been noticing more and more it has its days. well its been awhile now and talk about some price drops! i ended up ordering today the newest OSX (snow leopard) and 6gig of memory for 150$ shipped. im pretty pumped about that. cant wait to see this guy in action after the 4gig memory upgrade
and the new osx is incredible! i cant believe it took me this long to upgrade this bitch.
