looks like they are taking on an accord look with the loger headlights. i wish they would redesign something to look more like the 5th or 6th gen. they are getting way 2 futuristic. i dunno 6th gen was my fav. year. it seems like anymore its like relocat the shifter ontot he dash. its taking away form that whole 'airplane cockpit' feel that i like in the cars. and they are adding like 100 accessory pockets and shit.

I don't really like them. They are trying to make a Civic too "classy". They're losing sight on what the Civic originally was designed for. It the lowest rung on Hondas ladder, and it's looking too much like the Accord.

I like the cars alot more then my own when it comes to stock appearance. All automotive manufacters are going with the most expensive look for the dollar for the comsumer. Since I sell cars and deal with this shit daily. A head to head race with the civic is the corolla and sentra in a sales speak sense. Just as the corolla is getting more classy the civic is following in the same direction, it's the nature of the current market.... get the most stuff for your dollar. The fit and finish on the 7th gen civic (EM) and the latest corolla are far superior compared to the previous model (EK). Sorry guys I'm not bashing the older cars, it's just both companies are always improving on design, they felt the cars platform was too "old" to make improvemnets on. Extreme comfort, convience, performance, and practicallity are the focus for a compact car...all for an "unextreme" price. We are not the buyers the manufacturers are building the cars for, it's for the other millions that use them for normal shit everyday.

Anyways, I understand that the market is getting more and more classy. It's just that it's getting to the point that it is harder and harder to differentiate between an Accord and a Civic. Of course, this is opening the door for another car lower than the Civic. Maybe re-release the CRX? Maybe knock the Accord out?
