I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Leftover money.

I'll probably have about 1500 left over after I sell my CRX and pay off the Miata. I think I'm gonna buy the cheap Greddy turbo kit. Not completely decided though. Whadda you guys think?

I think you should get a hot slut for a weekend and have fun.

Turbo would definitely be rad.

Turbo prolly won't be happening. My Dad and I decided that the Miata will be running street touring two class in SCCA, so no boost allowed. Just a gaggle of suspension mods and some bolt-ons. I plan on keeping my mod fever at bay by making CF interior/exterior parts.

Awww thanks man, KA26DET? Nice, but how are you going to go about that? Is there a stroker kit available for the DE? Anyhoo, I'm glad to hear you're considering the KA now.

Oh yes, and I expect to see them showing up to the autoX within a few events. The Mazdaspeed Protege runs in DS, I wonder what the MX5 will run in?

well it ha been BORED over to a 2.6, i think it has forged 280zx pistons in it, and i think the exact cc is 2568 or something. So a KA26DE. it makes 206whp in n/A form, and with t3/t4 should go to 300+hp, even with 10.1 compression, with 12 psi, going through an Apexi GT intercooler.

...unsure of what pistons he put in there but he wants 1k for the motor/tranny/reflashed ECU. and its fully built. (friend built motor). has about 1500 miles on it.

/...as for the mazdaspeed, that should be intersting to see what kind of lap times they can make.
