I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Hi All, I'm probably the old man of the group but don't let my age fool you. It's good to be here though with my work and family I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to surf here.

Currently driving a semi modded 99 CX hb - nothing much to brag about compared to my previous 99 DX hb (which got rear-ended and totaled 2 years ago)

gotta run - check in with ya'll laterz

Nice to see you dropping in every now and again.

How old are you? I know there's not many people on here that are older than me. I'm 25.

Mods currently on my 99 CX:
AEM cai
Carbing (2 point) front upper strut bar
'99 Si rims
'99 Si shocks
Neuspeed Sport springs
5-Zigen Fireball axle-back muffler
'99 Si CD Player
'99 DX rear upper cargo cover & speaker grills (not available on the CX)
US ITR f&r floor mats

Mods just sitting around:
real deal CTR front grill (looks just like the 99-00 Si grill)
real deal CTR brake booster/m.c.
real deal CTR upper plastic interior trim (4 pieces)
nock-off CTR rear lip
carbon fiber CTR style wing with c.f. base (needs slight modification for "exact" fitment)
US ITR rear swaybar
UK airbag block off tray
'99 Si fog light kit new in box with outer housing painted Milano Red - bout them that way though my HB is Roma Red. oh well...

On my previous '99 DX hb (black):
CTR headlights
Si grill
VIS CF hood
VIS CF lip
real deal CTR wing with base
AEM cai
Carbing 2pt f. upper strut bar
US ITR 5 lug with gunmetal ITR rims
old school Apexi world sport suspension
5-Zigen axle-back muffler (painted flat black)
'99 Si front lower control arms and shock forks
'99 Si front swaybar
US ITR rear sway with '99 Si endlinks and Beaks subframe kit
DC Sports rear lower tie bar
rare Cusco 4pt rear upper strut bar
rare Top Fuel (gold) rear pillar bars
CTR upper plastic interior trim
CTR SRS steering wheel
CTR cluster
jdm EK vent with pocket
'99 Si climate controls
'99 Si CD player
US ITR f&r floor mats

Parts that I had at home that were to be installed before the fatal accident:
rare EK4 Cluster
UK airbag block off tray
knock-off rear CTR lip
real deal CTR brake booster/m.c.
'00 Si prop. valve
'99 fog lights (as mentioned above; I was goint to get them repainted)
Tein Type-Flex with EDFC

After the accident I went through a time of thinking I was done with cars and started selling off most of my stuff thinking the insurance Co. was going to dick me around - plus my back injury - and then needing to find another car... man... it was just one headache after another. Then one day while surfing online for cars I found my current '99 CX hb about an hour away at a Honda dealership in their Certified used car add. So... I bought it and seriously regretted selling off most of my goodies. But other good things happened to me since then in my life so I can't complain. Car parts will always be around... maybe not in the best of condition for the older rare stuff but they'll still be around... somewhere.
OK are you bored now? I gots to roll and get some work done. Peace!

Gotta have funds for the little man in my life.
My son, Dakoda Anthony Norton was born Sun, Sept. 19th '04 @ 1:23am.

Father/Son Project EK hb will be in the works in a year or two. I know he's still not big enough to hold up a wrench but he'll be out in the garage with me watching and learning.
