I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Where are you located? Aren't there any local yards around?

There are tons of online motor suppliers, but you hear alot of horror stories from various ones. Just research the suppliers.
Built Motorsportswear - Function/Form Autolife - ICB Motorsports
Go Autoworks

totaljdm.com is a good site to buy motors from. I got my B16a from Noyan in Manassas and it was in good shape.

I highly recommend hmotorsportsonline.com. However, if you should go else where I would advise you to stay away from private sellars as much as possible, unless you legitmately know the source. Also, avoid buying any motor older than 1992. 90% of the time you be dealing with faulty FITV, EACVs, and ECUs - they are not pretty to mess with.

Another advice, make sure you have at least $1500 on the side for tunes ups and upgrades, such as timing belt, head gasket, alternator belts, etc....
