I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I can vouch for a B16 being able to beat an H22, I've done it a few times, including raping a H22 del sol in the eighth. This was in a CRX Si, full interior, B16A IHE and 185-60-14s.

I can say that a 4th gen Civic Si can take a H23 Prelude. Tell your little brothers that if they're on their bigwheels and one pulls up next to 'em go for it.

h22a's are a waste of money and extra weight. they suck trying to swap. are way too fucking big and extremly heavy. go with a GSR best bang for your buck

h22

Post by marks_lude » July 18, 2006

h22's arnt crap by any means. when mine was fairly stock, with I/H/E i managed to run some mid-low 14's in my 92 lude. the same night a civic hatch h22 ran a fairly low 13. the engines carry their own weight! but for draggin it depends alot on the chassis weight and what car its in.

their short coming for their heaviness shows when you throw them in a light car and then try to autocross it. you tend to have a really front heavy car.

the absolute biggest pain in the ass about them is the FRM sleeves. saves weight for their size when N/A... but makes boosting them a bitch. if H series motors didnt have FRM sleeves, i would have had a boosted h23 right now rather than my h22.
