I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Scion t2B

Post by thedanger » March 30, 2005

Dont know if anyone saw this yet here...this was released last week at the New York Auto Show. It kind of shows what Scion is going for in its new vechile but I doubt it will be anywhere close to this. Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image so what do you think? Front end needs work but im feeling the back. Interior looks like something from Star Trek..

heres the whole story...its a HID foglight...trying to be different I guess. If you notice there is only one reverse light opposite of the exhaust. Dont underesitmate the sneakiness of Scion.

Word, thats funky, but it would never pass US crash specs w/o door supports in the middle, that would be about as strong as a Geo Metro. I kinda like it though, its what Scion is all about, being differant. That one fog light accually looks kinda cool with that theme... I'm not feeling the 'star trek' interior.

yea I didnt even notice that. Yea it would require a lot more work before it was on the market but you can tell where they are going. Also Scion is only releasing cars for a few years (4-5) and then stopping and bringing out a new model. so this type will replaced my beloved box. One of their concerns with the t2B is the size. The xB is so loved because its small on the outside and easy to park...but so spacy on the inside and comfortable. Also that t2B has a 2.4L engine same as Camry and tC.

I'll have to warm up to it. Looks too big and bulky, and TALK ABOUT A BLIND SPOT!!!
