I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Should I leave the JDM scene....for this??

Ya I want it bad. The only thing I'm worried about is money. I'll be able to get a loan and make the payments, but I don't want to turn into someone who doesn't save his money well. This will surely be another ~$300 from me each month, and that's a lot of money to save. My car is all paid for, and is cheaper to maintain, but there isn't really much more I can do it, especially in the GO FAST department. Blah I'm confused, did I mention the M3 is in Portland, which means Id have to fly and drive it back in one weekend.

Keep telling me I should buy it (as long as you mean it) then we'll see.

Don't put yourself in a hole over a car, but M3s are badass.

If I could swing the payments, insurance, etc...I'd do it.

word, but keep in mind a 18,000 dollar car is reasonable now that you have a good job

My friend owns a fully modded M3 of the same gen and I was quite impressed. His was also silver but had lots of carbon goodies. They are a great looking car and will put a smile on your face that lasts longer than your current ride.....

personally i am a bmw man at heart, tobytuned can tell you this, but i hate the e36 m3's. i could give you a big long speal about what is all wrong with them and everything but i don't really want to put myself through it. if you do get into the bmw world i would say go with a 325is if you like the two door pre-95 models or a 328is if you like obd-II. either way stay away from the m3's. you will cut down on insurance and save you some money on mods. and if you ever want to go turbo... the 2.5i hold boost better than the 3.2i. i personally would stick with the g20 and maybe go sr20det. you could go sleeper and still look good in it. or just keep it how you have it and save up some money for something better, or a project car. but as i have stated... stay away from the m3. unless you can find a e30 m3 (88-91), if that is the case i would tell you to snag that bitch up like no tomorrow
