Friday the 13th Remake Recut for DVD?
Film's producer talks two versions on DVD.

February 10, 2009 - Eager horror fans anxiously awaiting the release of Platinum Dunes' reboot ofFriday the 13th might know that our friends over at Bloody-Disgusting have been hosting a frequently-updated production blog from the minds behind the movie. Producer Brad Fuller recently chimed in with a post-NYCC report which mentioned some interesting things about the film's eventual DVD release, specifically that the disc will feature two cuts of the film that are said to be drastically different from one another.

"We are finishing up on the Unrated DVD this week," says Fuller. "That DVD will rock! We have a different cut of movie, that not only has more violence and sex, but it has an additional storyline that is totally different from the movie you will see in theaters. It's not like we just cut a few things differently, the DVD version will feel like a different movie. For those of you who love the theatrical cut that will also be on the DVD."

i wanted to go see this friday night...the gf wanted to see that fuckin mall cop movie.
so...i didnt get to see it, ended up not even going to the movies haha but what i got was better then a movie anyways haha ;-)

they are having a horror convention in NJ in may. probly end up hitting that up. friday the 13th reunion with the original actors from the movies 1-3 along with some current actors from the latest flick. also the original actor that played pinhead, captain spalding and a bunch others. probably be a good time.

yeah i wasnt a huge fan of zombies halloween remake. i didnt like the fact they he touched on myers childhood. it was touched a little bit on in the past but not as much as zombie showed and i think that really made the character of myers not so mysterious. i was very dissapointed in his remake as a matter of fact i dont really care for any of his movies.

I didnt like is remake of the movie either. I fell that it really had some parts in it that didnt need to be there. one scene that comes to mind is when the two guys in the hospital were raping the one patient. I didnt like it was necessary. I actually didnt even finish watching the whole movie because i didnt think it was good at all
