Heat gun? Shit, I dont got one :-/

Im gonna go PB Blaster, That may be cheaper, how many bottles do you think i'll need?

What kinda stores sell putty knifes?

Is it possible w/o a heat gun? What do you use the heat gun for?

use a hair dryer instead. once u blaster the tar use the heatgun/hair dryer to heat the tar and then use the putty knife to scrape this shit up. keep blastering the rat while u scrape and heat it.

or use some dry ice and lay it on the tar. it should make the tar super cold it will crack right off from the metal.

Welp, so far my poor ass has yet to pay of my almost $1000 in debts, so I have no money to buy dry ice or pb blaster, so im doing the shit with elbow mother fuckin grease, i got the trunk almost done tonight, still gotta get the very bottom of the spare tire well, thats going to be a bitch..
