I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

mmm
question:
I have the console... came stock in my EK3 (edm hotness?) BUT...
There's no closed compartment... I have the tray where the radio COULD be mounted, but there's some open compartment now... the lower compartment is closed in your console... mine is just open...

Is that a simple part to be put in? If so, I guess I need to go fetch me one :)

looks good ;)

btw: no radio mods are great in throw around road racer cars like my crx... wouldn't want to leave it out again ...

thanks guys, it wasnt hard at all if you have all the parts. And Bart-EK, not quite sure if I understand your question, but if your talking about the lower console including the cup holders, there used to be a single din there that you take out to put the radio.

mmm nope, question is more about the cup holder...

I have the complete lower enclosure... where the radio is in the pics, I have a tray to throw stuff into (my marlboros and my cellphone... small stuff) and below that, where you have the cupholders (I didn't know, thought it was a closeable tray) I have another tray... just open...
Image only pic I have right now... see my phone in the lower tray?

yea, man I love 96-98 consoles...You should still be able to relocate it. Just get the single din block off for where your radio is now, and take out your lower din (above the cup holders), and put your radio in there.
