D16 power?

Im not sure if i am going to keep the motor munster but i wont be swapping it for a few years and heck if it can make good power and be reliable what the hell i will keep it

My D16 with Jackson Racing supercharger is stupid fun. I don't ahve any numbers but would guess a mid 14 quarter. I also get 40+ mpg.

jackson racing supercharger is probably out of my budget
i will probaly just get a small dsm turbo for now and run 8 or 9 psi. From what i have found out i can get enough power with that set up. Just out of curiousity what did your setup cost you?

Got it used for $1300 after shipping, has been on the car for about 8k miles now with no problems.

I think i am just going to buy the parts over a period of time and just take it slow

I am not in a huge rush and i dont want to fuck it up either

buddy of mine is boosted d series....13g turbo at 6psi got him 160whp and 137 tq. he has blown up 3 motors so far in the past 3months so idk.

I have a '91 Si and a '91 Dx. The Dx has a B16A
with A2 Cams
6lb flywheel
Exedy Stage 2 Clutch
S1 Trans With Limited Slip
Stock PR3 ECU
5Zigen Exhaust
Shitty Intake
and a new factory Cat.

The Si has a D16A6
with a full (in the fender) intake,
eBay Underdrive Pulley,
eBay Header,
eBay Fake Cat,
Stock Exhaust with Stock Si Muffler,
Royal Purple
eBay chip in PM6 ECU.

My Si pulls really hard at low end and would be suprisingly close to the B16. Once it revs out though it seems to drop off. The B16 starts pulling slightly harder than the Si but the higer she revs the harder she pulls. Rather than putting the money into a swap I would advise to put it into the D16. They're way fun and cheap too. I imagine if i put a Cam, Clutch, Flywheel, Full Exhaust, and a real tune on the D16 it would pull pretty close to the B16. Just my 2 cents.
