They should run alright if they are takin care of, just dont buy the car from some tool bandwagon drift kid, kuz most likely they beat the shit out of it, didnt maintain it, and tried to 'modify' it poorly..
And on the upside, if you pop a KA its around 0-200$ for a new one depending on year/miles/ect. and what not...

my car has 130,xxx on it. other than a leaking power steering line(which is all gonna end up in the trash anyway) its still alive and kicking. as far as being a daily driver so far so good. the only times i seen the KA have issues was when someone was getting all drifto and pegging the rev limiter. im still honda at heart but im gonna give nissan a shot,so far i liked every sr i have driven but if not i'll find another type R to buy, then toby can come and pick up his creamy yellow 240.

I'd like to see the ITR go even bigger. That car still amazes me every time I see it run.

Banzai, beware, with the growing popularity of 240s, so does their attractiveness to thieves. I would honestly recommend you check out a nicer car to VIP tune, you should certainly appreciate that more day-to-day.

Was gone for awhile, getting owned by college for awhile, but finals week is next week, and after that is summer..so hopefully I'll be getting a job and making a bunch of money and then wasting it on my skanky s-chassis..
At which point I'll make a post up here on thejdm with a title somewhere along the lines of "How To Pimp Your S-Chassis : A complete guide to suspension and brake hotness"

Anyways, if you dont want a 240 could always look at an SC300, things are the gangster, supra brakes/lsd/suspension bolt on, and a GTE goes in without much persuading, 1JZ go in like nothing, 2JZ-GTE a little more work..
Keep the bitch stock for awhile, clean it up, throw some nice wheels on it and some autozone remaned supra brakes, maybe some shocks/springs or coilovers, and pimp the reliable 2JZ-GE goodness.
